At Watchy Technology, we believe that there should be a continuous flow of knowledge into a company. Being a startup we see ourselves interacting primarily with other startups. It has been a very good learning/sharing opportunity. We thought why not extend this model to bigger companies.

Personally, when I used to work in corporate (Sify, Motorola, Tektronix), I had a huge circle of friends who are very good in tech. They have helped me in many ways when I started Watchy. Four years into the startup life, I have come to know many best minds in the startup ecosystem. However, I would like to have the best of the both worlds.

Right now the only way to associate with a startup is to intern or join one. However many people from corporate are simply curious about startup lifestyle. They are perfectly happy with their current work. Some of them are even eager to help startups with their expertise in management, technology etc. The idea is to discover such people and build the relationship with them.

This is not a PR, marketing or hiring exercise. As a young startup, we need more help and support from many to grow. Am using this model to discover such good souls.
