College Workshop by Watchy Team

We started our journey to keep a seed of knowledge for the real-time approach to the student. In this, we found a level of the workshop which gives the students of all 3rd and 4th-year students to dig their interest towards the industry and have a path for their life.

So, we started this workshop as an experiment with one of the colleges from chennai{ B. S. Abdur Rahman University }. And when we talk to the lecturers, they expected only some workshop happening which make their students knowledgeable.
We planned the workshop into two parts,

1. Small introduction to current  industry topic

2. A hands-on experience with the software or hardware, in a small span of time.

We found that we can’t give 2nd part of the workshop to everyone because it can’t be possible on one day workshop. For that in the 1st part of the workshop, we got an idea of giving 30 tokens, to students who are participating in the workshop, who can answer, who can yan, who can put group joke. While we are giving the tokens we said “anyone who are not interested give the tokens to their friends”. In this state, we got all the students from all the category,  And really it’s an interesting idea, many students got into participation with workshop, not only active candidates.

After finishing the 1st part of the workshop we have a good experience that, HOD of the department got very excited and he gave moments for each in our team. it was a nice moment in our journey.
And 2nd part of the workshop we started after a 1hr time gap. As we expected all the students came to the workshop mainly they did not exchange the tokens. We found that it was their interest from the 1st part of the workshop. And with the three hours of time, we finished the workshop. After the workshop, many students came to our team and asked their doubts.The interaction was so nice. We have a nice experience with the students and good support from the college too.
